Hedgerow
Hedgerow House is a striking contemporary home set in the Oxfordshire countryside, designed to blend modern architecture with seamless technology. The client’s vision was for a smart, comfortable home.
The brief called for intuitive whole-home lighting control, multiroom audio accessible in every living space, a showpiece media wall as the focal point of the main lounge, robust and seamless Wi-Fi coverage throughout the property, and simple, unified control for all systems.
Lighting Control
Lutron lighting was selected for its reliability and elegance, with Alisse keypads providing intuitive and stylish scene control in every room. The system lets the homeowners set the perfect mood for any occasion, from entertaining to relaxation, all at the touch of a button.
WiFi & Networking
Araknis Wi-Fi was deployed to ensure robust, high-speed wireless coverage in every corner of the property. The result is seamless streaming, smart control, and reliable internet for all devices.
Media Wall
The main lounge features sonance in ceiling speakers for surround sound alongside a REL Subwoofer, serving as both a high-performance entertainment hub. This setup delivers stunning visuals and rich, dynamic sound—perfect for movie nights, sports, and everyday enjoyment.
Multi-room Sound
Sonos was chosen as the core of the multiroom audio system, seamlessly integrated with Sonance in-ceiling speakers. This combination delivers crisp, immersive sound throughout the home, all controlled effortlessly by smartphone or wall panels.
Unified Control
Control4 ties every system together, offering a single, intuitive interface for managing lighting, audio, media, and Wi-Fi. Homeowners can adjust any setting via touch panels or their mobile devices, making smart living truly effortless.
Window Treatments
Lutron blinds were integrated with the lighting system to manage natural light and privacy throughout the day. Pre-set scenes allow the clients to adjust blinds and lighting together—maximising daylight when it’s needed and creating a warm, comfortable ambience in the evening.
Outdoor Audio
To extend the experience beyond the main living spaces, we installed two Sonance Patio systems to cover the terrace and garden seating areas. The satellite speakers and in-ground subwoofers blend discreetly into the landscaping while delivering rich, even sound across the outdoor entertaining zones. Whether the clients are hosting friends or relaxing with family, they can enjoy the same high‑quality audio outside as they do inside, controlled from the same intuitive interface.
