Stonefield
Stonefield was a ground floor extension and full refurbishment of a countryside property. The client’s vision was to enhance both comfort and security with seamlessly integrated technology, requesting robust network infrastructure to support modern living, smart equipment monitoring for reliability and peace of mind, intelligent lighting control for every space, automated blinds for comfort and privacy, and comprehensive CCTV coverage for enhanced security.
Network & Smart Power Monitoring
A robust network infrastructure was installed to support the client’s connected lifestyle. To ensure ongoing reliability, a WattBox smart PDU (Power Distribution Unit) was deployed, enabling remote monitoring and management of all AV and network equipment—minimising downtime and allowing proactive support.
Lighting Control
Lutron HomeWorks QS was specified for intelligent, whole-home lighting control. The system delivers customisable scenes and effortless adjustment for every occasion, all via elegant keypads or app control. Lighting enhances both the property’s design and day-to-day comfort.
Media Room
A dedicated media room was created with a Sonos-based surround sound system, delivering immersive audio for films, TV, and everyday viewing. The system provides rich, room-filling sound while remaining simple for the family to use day to day.
Automated Blinds
Lutron blinds were integrated for privacy and comfort, with seamless control alongside the lighting system—allowing the client to adjust natural light and privacy at the touch of a button.
CCTV Security
A Dahua CCTV system was installed to provide comprehensive, discreet security coverage. Cameras were positioned to blend with the property’s exterior, giving the client peace of mind without detracting from the countryside aesthetic.
Control
Control4 provides intuitive, centralised control for the media room and key front-of-house functions. Door chime and gate intercom integration allows the clients to see and respond to visitors directly from their control interface—whether they are in the media room or elsewhere in the home—enhancing both convenience and security.
